    Operation Organise – Lounge Rooms

Spring has officially sprung, and with that comes Spring cleaning and the chance to get your life organised. Being organised is a big thing for me. I can handle a bit of dust here and there, but feel completely frazzled when my surroundings are not organised. So much so, that my mum and sister have always teased me for having everything down to my underwear draw as neat as possible. So with that in mind, I thought I would put together an operation organise series. Over the next few weeks we will be tackling one room at a time, starting with the Lounge and moving through to the Kitchen, Bathroom, Bedroom and Garage. The…

    Colour of the Week: Blush

Oh stop! You’re making me blush! Today’s colour of the week is blush pink. And there’s no doubt about it, this colour is definitely one for the girls. Used in children’s rooms or nurseries, blush is whimsical and dream-like. BUT you don’t necessarily have to be a little girl to have a room featuring this colour. Right now, blush is having a huge moment, and has been deemed “the colour of the season” (by none other than Coco Republic). Teamed in the right way, blush pink can be elegant and sophisticated and today, I’m going to show you how. However, before that (and because I really just can not resist), here are a couple of to-die-for blush pink…

Interior Design Trends 2014 – Mixing Metals

Once upon a time I was told that gold and silver shouldn’t be seen together. Once upon a time, I was also told that going to a solarium was a safe alternative to the sun. And like sun beds, we should definitely reconsider some of the design advise that was given to us many moons ago. Mixing metals is one trend that can be as subtle or as bold as you like and either way it can work an absolute charm at giving your room that finishing touch. The addition of mixed metals can be added into a variety styles such as industrial, vintage, classic, glamour or even rustic rooms. There are a couple of simple tricks…

    Why I love The Hamptons

Aah The Hamptons, filled with such beauty and a relaxed coastal vibe, this is one destination that is right up the top of my bucket list. Well, here’s five thousand words to describe the beauty of The Hamptons (but just to be sure, I’ll throw in a few of my own words too). It’s…
