    This week I’m forgetting the seasons and going with colours that can be used year round. Or in other words: to celebrate the release of “50 Shades of Grey” I thought it would be fun to feature shades of grey for this weeks colour scheme feature.     Grey isn’t typically a spring colour, but today I’m going to show you how it can be one of the best colours for the season – as a backdrop. Dove Grey makes a neutral addition to my spring colour palette due to its subtle, soft hue. Sitting in the middle of the scale between charcoal (winter) and bright whites (summer), dove grey is a beautiful colour choice for making spring colours pop and shine. Dove grey works well as a transition from winter to spring  – paired with neutrals and darker tones, gorgeous winter palettes can easily be created.
