    Moroccan Interiors

Just the thought of Morocco conjures up many vibrant images in my mind – rich timbers, bright colours, and great patterns.  It all adds up to a style that instantly spells fun, but aside from Morocco’s style (and food),  I don’t know all that much about this region. From what I can gather it would be a country full of personality and vibrancy, the design styles and bold flavours give an impression of freedom, fun and family and that alone is enough for me to be drawn to this style. There are so many design aspects we can thank Morocco for – from light fittings to tiles and all that’s in between. When you look at it, you might just find there…

    Coastal Style

When I think of decorating a home by the water, I think of a couple of different styles – from nautical to beachy, relaxed coastal chic or something that is more suited to city harbour living. Timeless Styling For Your Home

If you haven’t picked up on it, I am an absolute lover of all things timeless and classic. That’s not to say I am a huge fan of antiques or vintage, but rather pieces or styles that have stood the test of time and are still beautiful and refreshing to look at in todays modern world. To me the pinnacle of style is a combination of modern and classic elements, tied in together to create a space that has character, ambience and a real sense of home. It is all in the details, and it is all about looking at a space holistically – from the finishes on the floor to…

    Under the Tuscan Sun

I hear this statement and I think of two things – the movie, which is one of my all time favourites and a vision of being on holiday, relaxed and by a vineyard with the warmth of the sun on my back. I used to say my ultimate dream would be to marry an Italian, live on a vineyard and grow fat and happy enjoying lots of pasta. Times have changed – I’m definitely not married to an Italian, but I still wouldn’t mind a trip to Tuscany to do all of the above and explore the beautiful region. The rustic architecture, raw materials and warm colour palette are like a warm, welcoming hug. To…
