Well, it’s already here again! Gosh the weeks seem to be flying by at the moment, I must be having far too much fun! This week, has been filled with some wonderful surprises and adventures from having our bench tops installed to achieving some really great, personal goals. Below are some things I’ve discovered and fallen for this week, that I have been itching to share with you today. The Home – Is your go-to website for inspiring home and living products. The team source designer finds from big brands and boutique labels to give members easy access to their discoveries without the designer price tag. Check it out here
Watercolour Dreams – Absolutely in love with these cushions and prints from Urban Road. I’m predicting that watercolour home décor is going to be trending big time over the coming months, especially as we move into spring.
Ombre Cakes – This trend has been doing the rounds for a little while now, and I’m not sure if it’s my lack of kitchen or something else, but I have re-found a love for these beautiful cakes and cannot wait to get my hands dirty with some baking in the very near future.
Speaking of cooking – My new roots is a site I have been fond of for quite a while. Dedicated to making healthy choices, Sarah shares not only the most beautiful food porn, but also some pretty incredible recipes. I highly recommend her Raw Cashew Dreamcake, but today am loving the look of these crackers.
Daffodils – Today is daffodil day. In Australia this is the day to show you care about the fight to beat cancer. All funds raised go towards research, prevention and support services for those affected by cancer. It’s an incredible initiative and a beautiful way to welcome in spring, with some fresh flowers in your home or bright sunny pin on your lapel.
Hip-hip-hooray, the count down is on! We officially have only two weeks left of winter and that means all things bright and beautiful are starting to come out of hibernation. Modern graphics are one trend that has been around for a little while and it is so appropriate for this time of year. Bold stripes, chevron, over-sized spots and the like have been finding their way on to walls, furnishings, rugs and accessories in all the best ways possible. They look incredible in modern homes and (in my humble opinion) even better when softened with classic elements. But, life’s not all about design and interiors, so in true Friday fashion, here’s what I’ve been loving this week! Bold Graphics in a rustic setting (more on this next Tuesday)…
Cherry Blossom that is starting to peek through the winter chill…
The idea of doing this…
Having one of these post 5PM…
And this cute little guy…
Happy Friday!! I hope everyone has an incredible weekend xx
Woohoo, it’s Friday again and what better way to kick off the weekend than with some sweet, stylish shopping? Today I’m stalking Etsy! If you have not heard of Etsy you would have to be living under a rock as this store is bangin’ matter what country you live in! Filled with precious gems of either vintage or handmade items, Etsy has to be one of my favourite (and most expensive) procrastinations. None the less, here are some items I’ve been dreaming about this week. Lets hope Mr Cullen will approve! The Elephant– I generally wouldn’t choose to have animal heads in my home, but could quite happily make an exception for elephants. There is something about the gentle giants that I just absolutely love! This guy would have to be a Max… he’s cool, calm and I’d like to have some of his wisdom.
Abstract Hand-painted cushions– Aren’t these cushions divine? The softness of the colours in this print just takes my breath away. It’s tropical, summery, fun and yet still elegant.
Pineapple Prints – Okay, how could anyone not jump on this bandwagon? Pineapples have taken off in such a huge way and this right here is a fantastic example of why.
Mint Green Pendant– Totally swooning over the details in this lamp. It is so chic – I’d take two if we hadn’t already picked out the pendants for our kitchen.. time to think of where else they could go?
Ornate Crosses– The symbol of a cross is very special to me, it represents forgiveness and freedom. So naturally, it’s something I’ve always wanted to incorporate into my home. Now I see these and I’m thinking -why just stop at one when a cluster of three could look this good together!
What a week it’s been! With the MH17 flight filling our news feeds and hearts, this week has really brought home some truths about what is really important in life. So with that in mind, here is what’s most important and loved in my life. My husband
Nature’s little beauties
And of course, my faith
I hope everyone has a beautiful weekend, filled with a whole lotta love! xx
Yay! It’s here again – Friday! And it would have to be my favourite day of the week. It’s like Christmas Eve when you know the next day you’ll wake up to the joy of Christmas! I love my weekends, and at the moment they are especially exciting as we’re seeing our new kitchen come together. So for the love of Friday, here’s my top picks for Liv Loves this week. Unique coffee tables
Can you believe its already Friday again? I’m so excited for the weekend, although smack bang in the middle of winter here, Sydney has been experiencing some beautiful, crisp, sunnies days and I’m super keen to get out for a hike by the coast.
Last night we started putting our kitchen cabinets together and I can already see how great it’s all going to look! Starting this process has really inspired me this week and I’ve been busily searching out gorgeous-ness all over the web. So with that being said, here’s a few things I’ve been lovin’ this week!
A lovely, bright, navy and coral bedroom
Open shelving styled oh-so brilliantly
These Marble polished subway tiles with bevel edge
This beautiful Bonsai Tree
And a well organised pantry
Happy friday, I hope everyone has a fab weekend! x
