Hi, thanks for stopping by!

My name’s Olivia and Liv with Vision is my first ever creation – Welcome!

I started this website in 2014 as I really wanted a place to develop myself as an interior designer and to share whatever I learnt along the way. However, over the years as my life and passions have evolved so has this space. Today, its where I want to share about life with my little person AND my love of interiors, DIY and food!

About me

where to start? Basically I’m a wife and mother of one with a 2nd little girl on the way, I work part time in graphics and marketing, have studied interior design and I adore being a mum!

On Sunday mornings you’ll find me at church. 15 (or so) years ago I made the choice to follow God and build a relationship with Jesus. I have found that God works in miraculous ways and has helped me through so many of life’s challenges. I’ve also got Him to thank for my husband and the wonderful life that we have together today.

Over the past couple of years, I have also become very interested in health and nutrition. I have turned my life around with a healthier lifestyle and discovered what foods are right for my body!

Yes, I still love to gorge on chocolate and love a treat come the weekend, however, what I love more is creating new dishes that I know are good for me and my little family and I hope to share some of these with you here.

I find joy in creating things, have a slight obsession with cushions, candles and throws and am notorious for moving stuff around our home.

I love the water – be it by the beach, a lake or poolside – it refreshes me and is my happy place. Thunderstorms and the sound of rain are two of my favourite sounds.

I grew up as the youngest child of three and at the age of 14 my parents split up. A few years later my Dad had another baby and suddenly I was one-of-four. Being in a broken-family has had its challenges over the years but I wouldn’t change it for the world. It has made me who I am today and has propelled me to be insanely passionate about building a strong family.

I try to remind myself that everything in life is a choice and while we can’t always control what happens, we can believe in the best and choose to see the brighter side of things. This is often much harder said than done, but we are all a work in progress and when in doubt, a little prayer goes a long way.

Hopefully, this will become a place for you to escape to for a five minute once a week to find both ideas and inspiration for living a life with vision.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you back again!

– Liv
